The University of Georgia Cabinet will conduct its regular meeting Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. in the Peabody Board Room of the Administration Building. President Michael F. Adams will hold a media briefing immediately following the cabinet meeting. Parking is available in the North Campus parking deck on Jackson Street.

Computer system intruders access UGA personnel information
An ongoing investigation into what officials call "a criminal act of computer trespass" reveals that the personnel records of at least 8,500 current and former University of Georgia employees apparently were accessed by an intruder, UGA Vice President for Information Technology Timothy M. Chester announced today.

UGA president to present 2012 State of the University Address
Athens, Ga. - University of Georgia President Michael F. Adams will deliver the annual State of the University speech on Jan. 26 at 3:30 p.m. in the UGA Chapel. The event is free and open to the public. This year's speech will focus on UGA's historical role in addressing Georgia's most pressing needs and how the university can serve Georgia in the coming years. The speech will be streamed on Channel 15 Live Stream (http://www.ctl.uga.edu/CTLcable) and broadcast live on the University Channel 15 and Charter Cablevision channel 15.
