Museum visitors to vote on which painting to keep
The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia will host the exhibition "Deaccessioning Bernard Smol" May 25 to July 7 in the Martha Thompson Dinos Gallery. The exhibition will feature five paintings by the French artist Bernard Smol (1897-1969) that are currently in the museum's collection.

Performance to celebrate book documenting traditional folk music
Traditional ballads and fiddle tunes will be heard at the Richard B. Russell Building Special Collections Libraries on the University of Georgia campus June 15 to celebrate the recently released book "Mary Lomax Ballad Book-America's Great 21st Century Ballad Singer" by Art Rosenbaum.

‘Art and Intrigue’ film series to show at Georgia Museum of Art
The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia will present a film series on "Art and Intrigue" on Thursdays at 7 p.m. between May 23 and June 6. The three films focus on mystery, conspiracy and theft in the art world. All films will screen in the museum's M. Smith Griffith Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

Arts-Based Research exhibit features work of UGA College of Education faculty, students
