UGA president, former provost and dean comment on the passing of Harley Langdale Jr.
University of Georgia President Michael F. Adams, retired Provost Arnett C. Mace Jr., who was once dean of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, and Michael Clutter, dean of the Warnell School released the following statements on the passing of Harley Langdale Jr. of Valdosta.

UGA mourns passing of adjunct professor James ‘Jim’ R. Cothran
James "Jim" R. Cothran, an adjunct professor in the University of Georgia College of Environment and Design and vice president of Robert and Company, died Jan. 29 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Cothran was a respected landscape architect, horticulturalist and historic gardens preservationist.
