UGA to break ground on new College of Pharmacy addition
The University of Georgia will officially break ground on Pharmacy South, the $42.9 million, 93,288-square-foot addition to the College of Pharmacy, on Friday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in the parking lot on the south side of the Robert C. Wilson building. A reception will follow on Brooks Mall.

New Lamar Dodd School of Art building will be ready for students and faculty in fall 2008
Welcome to the new Lamar Dodd School of Art, which has leapt from a parking lot on UGA's East Campus into being after less than a year of day and night construction. It has a long way to go yet-mounds of red clay and swales of sticky mud surround the site, and a visitor can only imagine the final look.

UGA Student Learning Center to open 24 hours on trial basis
The University of Georgia Student Learning Center will soon join Snelling Dining Commons in offering students 24-hour access. Beginning on Monday, Sept. 17, areas of the SLC will remain open from Sunday at 11 a.m. through Friday at 7 p.m. on a trial basis for the fall semester. The SLC will continue the regular schedule for Saturday.

University of Georgia to relocate programs in Gwinnett to new facility
The University of Georgia has received approval from the University System Board of Regents for an agreement that allows the university to relocate its graduate academic and continuing education programs in Gwinnett to a new facility at 2530 Sever Road in Lawrenceville.

UGA concludes settlements for two more Lumpkin Street Greek houses
The University of Georgia in the last week has completed transactions to acquire clear title to two more Greek houses along Lumpkin Street - the Kappa Alpha fraternity house at 294 South Lumpkin Street and the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority house at 1324 South Lumpkin Street.
