Georgia's Chief Justice says many lack access to lawyers - In his State of the Judiciary Address, Chief Justice Hugh Thompson cites UGA statistics on poverty, and notes that persons in Georgia's poorest counties lack access to legal representation, as 70 percent of the state's attorneys live in five counties of metro Atlanta.
