Scientists study impact of plastics in oceans - "We estimate we're going to have millions of tons of plastic going into the ocean with, so far, unknown consequences," said Jenna Jambeck, a UGA environmental engineer who is among a group of scientists researching ocean trash and its impact on the environment and marine life.
