Single-step method can rapidly detect pathogens and chemical contaminants

UGA researchers have designed a one-step method to detect viruses and bacteria, reports News-Medical.net. Lead author and physics professor Yiping Zhao says he and three other UGA researchers used nanotechnology to combine two proven techniques.
