Athens, Ga. – The 2016 Georgia Economic Outlook series, hosted by the University of Georgia Terry College of Business, will visit 10 cities to share news on what the state’s businesses and government workers can expect from next year’s economy.

When: Series kicks off Dec. 11 at noon. Networking at 11 a.m.

Where: Marriott Marquis in Atlanta.

Based on research from the Terry College’s Selig Center for Economic Growth, the Georgia Economic Outlook series is the state’s premier forecasting event. It provides a timely and accurate measure of the trends shaping the state’s financial future.

Following the Atlanta kickoff, the Economic Outlook series goes on tour around the state, with events in middle Georgia (Jan. 15), Savannah (Jan. 20), coastal Georgia (Jan. 21), Swainsboro (Jan. 22), Athens (Jan. 27), Columbus (Jan. 29), Albany (Feb. 2), Augusta (Feb. 4) and Dalton (Feb. 9).
