State Botanical Garden of Georgia to host Holiday Open House Dec. 2

Athens, Ga. - The State Botanical Garden of Georgia invites the community to celebrate the holidays at its annual Holiday Open House on Dec. 2 from 2-5 p.m. in the tropical conservatory.
The public is invited to enjoy free, family-friendly entertainment including holiday music by the Georgia Children's Chorus, the Solstice Sisters and the Classic City Band. Music will begin at 2:15 p.m. with the Georgia Children's Chorus. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photographs by Mark Parsons Photography during the event. Children can enjoy puppet shows about nature each hour beginning at 2:30 p.m. while parents browse through the Garden Shop for ornaments and gifts. Donderos' Kitchen will be open and serving homemade hot chocolate, treats and more.
