Athens, Ga. - The University of Georgia Alumni Association and the UGA Athletic Association have teamed up to bring UGA Day to Tampa, Fla., on May 24 at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Yankees Pavilion.
UGA Day will get underway at 6 p.m., when guests may take photographs and obtain autographs of university officials on hand. The program will follow at 7 p.m. Registration is required.
Host Chuck Dowdle, Head Football Coach Mark Richt and Head Basketball Coach Mark Fox will be on hand to share their insights into UGA's upcoming athletic seasons, and Vice President for Public Service and Outreach Jennifer Frum will bring the latest news from the university. Attendees will learn about the UGA Alumni Association in Tampa and how to become involved.
