Brunch buffet and curtain call opportunities announced for Osborne Classic Film Festival

Athens, Ga. – Attendees of the fifth annual Robert Osborne Classic Film Festival, March 19-22 at the Classic Center in Athens, will have two opportunities to meet special festival guests at two weekend events.

Festival goers can enjoy a brunch buffet and mingle with special guests and fellow film fans on Saturday, March 21, at 11:30 a.m. in the Athena Ballroom at the Classic Center. A limited number of $30 tickets and $90 festival passes that include brunch are available at the Classic Center box office.

“Curtain Call with Fred and Friends” will take place on Sunday, March 22 at 11:30 a.m. in the Classic Center theater lobby. Participants can enjoy coffee and light refreshments and mingle with guest host and actor Fred Willard, other guests and fellow film fans. A limited number of tickets are available for $15 at the Classic Center box office.

The movie lineup for the festival includes Goldfinger, King Kong, Rear Window, Funny Girl, Sunset Boulevard, For Your Consideration, The Godfather and E.T.

All films, with the exception of the Friday matinee showing of Rear Window, will require a paid ticket for admission. The matinee will be free and open to the public, but requires tickets that can be picked up at the Classic Center box office.

Ticket prices are $10 per individual film or $60 for a pass to all films and panel discussions. Students and UGA Alumni Association members can purchase individual film tickets for $8 or a pass to all films and the panel discussion for $45 with valid identification. Special $5 tickets for children 12 and under will be available at the box office for Sunday’s showing of E.T.
