Deadline extended for UGA student life grant proposals

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Parents and Families Association has extended its deadline for grant proposals for the 2011-2012 academic year. Grant applications are due by the close of business on Feb. 11. Grants will be accepted only from UGA schools, colleges, units, departments, divisions or recognized student organizations registered with the department of campus life.

Proposals must demonstrate a direct and positive impact on student life at UGA. Grants will be awarded in the spring by a committee established by the Parents and Families Leadership Council. Since 2002, the council has funded more than $800,000 in grants to programs and organizations on campus, including the Roosevelt Institute, the Office of International Education and the Office of Student Financial Aid.
