Kari Smith to facilitate COE Brown Bag Seminar Series on Research

Athens, Ga. – Kari Smith, professor of teacher education at the University of Bergen in Norway, will speak on Wednesday, May 5, as part of the College of Education Brown Bag Seminars on Research.

Smith will give a presentation entitled, “Professional Development in Light of Standards-Supportive or Hindrance,” from 3:30-5 p.m. in Room G-23 Aderhold Hall.

The next presentation in the Brown Bag Seminars on Research is entitled, “Performance Assessments-A Report from D.C.,” with Jack Parish and Eric Houck of the department of lifelong education, administration, and policy, on June 2, 12-1 p.m., also in Room G-23 Aderhold Hall.
