Mason received a business administration degree from UGA in 1982 and a law degree in 1985.

Shelton is executive vice president of State Street Global Markets and a founding partner of State Street Associates. He oversees all of State Street’s global trading activities and is also responsible for State Street’s institutional e-Finance network and the firm’s Global Link network. State Street Global Markets has broker/dealer and bank branch networks in 11 countries and has more than 1,000 employees. Shelton received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in public administration from UGA and a master’s degree in finance from Boston College.

“Keith and Stan bring extensive knowledge, deep experience and valuable talents to the Arch Foundation Board of Trustees,” said board Chairman Norman Fletcher. “They also bring a strong commitment to achieving the foundation’s mission of strengthening excellence at the University of Georgia. We greatly appreciate their providing this important service to the university.”

The Arch Foundation is UGA’s cooperative organization that supports the university’s academic mission and assists with development and fund-raising activities. Gifts to the foundation are used to provide scholarships for superior students, support distinguished faculty scholars, strengthen research and teaching programs and build new facilities.

Mason and Shelton are among 24 elected members of the 32-member trustee board. Other trustees include university officials and faculty, staff, student and alumni representatives.
