Media Advisory: UGA and Gordon State College collaborate to help students complete degrees

Griffin, Ga. – The University of Georgia will host a ceremony recognizing an official partnership with Gordon State College to help students complete undergraduate degrees.

What: Ceremony to formally announce transfer articulation agreement

When: April 30 at 11 a.m.

Where: The Student Learning Center, University of Georgia Griffin Campus, 1109 Experiment Street, Griffin

UGA Vice President for Instruction Laura Jolly and Gordon State College President Max Burns will be participating in the ceremony. Attendees at the event include Board of Regents member Tommy Hopkins (Griffin), who has been heavily involved in the transfer articulation agreement process, and Doris Christopher, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of academic programs at UGA-Griffin. Other local officials are invited to the event as well.
