Media Advisory: Friends of the State Botanical Garden to host flea market this Saturday

Athens, Ga. - The Friends of the State Botanical Garden of Georgia at the University of Georgia will host their annual flea market on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Visitor Center and Conservatory, located at 2450 South Milledge Avenue in Athens. Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine. Items for sale include furniture, books, toys, garden supplies, linens, jewelry, household goods and more.
All proceeds will support the garden's numerous projects and displays. Any items not sold will be taken to various charitable organizations around Athens.
