Athens, Ga. - The University of Georgia College of Engineering will host a series of spring tours for prospective undergraduate students from March 23 to April 20. The tours will give high school students a chance to learn more about the fastest growing college at UGA.

"The College of Engineering is excited to welcome prospective students and their families to campus to learn what makes UGA engineering a great choice," said Donald Leo, dean of the UGA College of Engineering. "The opportunity to study engineering from a top-flight faculty, conduct cutting edge research, participate in impactful experiential learning programs and be a Georgia bulldog is a hard combination to beat."

During the tours, prospective student will learn about academic majors, hear personal experiences from current engineering students and visit classrooms and laboratories used for instruction and research.

Tours are scheduled on the following dates:
• Monday, March 23
• Monday, March 30
• Friday, April 10
• Monday, April 13
• Monday, April 20

Interested students should visit www.engineering.uga.edu/prospective/undergraduate/tours and select three session dates. Requests will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will receive an email confirmation with their session date and time.

UGA College of Engineering
Since gaining college status in 2012, the UGA College of Engineering has seen its enrollment double to more than 1,200 students. The college offers eight undergraduate degrees and seven graduate degrees. In addition, UGA is the only university in the state offering programs in agricultural engineering, biochemical engineering and biological engineering.
