The University of Georgia announces 2007 recipients of the Henry King Stanford Honors Scholarship

Athens, Ga. – The 2007 freshman class at the University of Georgia will include two undergraduates who have been awarded Henry King Stanford Honors Scholarships by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

The scholarship is named after former UGA President Henry King Stanford for his outstanding service to the university and his over 40-year career in higher education. The award is given to incoming Honors students with exceptional high school academic records.

Students receive $3,000 per year and can renew the scholarship for up to three more years if they maintain certain academic requirements of the Honors Program.
