UGA College of Public Health to hold Open House

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia College of Public Health is holding an Open House/Information Day Friday, Oct. 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Paul D. Coverdell Center for Biomedical and Health Sciences.This informational session will highlight all of the units in public health.Faculty from each academic area will discuss degree requirements, current research projects and career opportunities. The public is invited to attend.

“The College has grown tremendously over the past five years.” said Dean Phillip L. Williams.”The open house is an opportunity for us to share the new developments including new programs and degree options with prospective students.”

The college offers bachelors, masters and doctoral degree as well as minors and certificate programs.So whether students are looking for a full degree program or just a few courses to round out a current program of study in another discipline, the college has something for everyone.
