UGA issues arrest warrants for Milner

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Police Department announces the issuance of arrest warrants in relation to a False Imprisonment/Battery incident that was reported on Nov. 15. Over the course of the investigation Gene Whitner Milner III, a visitor to the UGA campus, was identified as a suspect.Sufficient probable cause was developed to obtain one Felony False Imprisonment arrest warrant and one Misdemeanor Battery arrest warrant for Milner.The warrants were issued on 11/20/09.
