UGA student affairs professor named to NASPA Journal editorial board

Athens, Ga. – University of Georgia student affairs administration professor Richard Mullendore has been appointed to the editorial board of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Journal.

Mullendore, former associate provost and vice president for student affairs for the university, will serve a three-year term beginning in March.

A professor in the College of Education’s department of counseling and human development services, Mullendore worked as an administrator and professor at several universities across the country including the University of Mississippi before coming to UGA in 1999.

Mullendore earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University in 1980. He is a past president of the National Orientation Directors Association (NODA) and is author or co-author of dozens of articles and book chapters on student affairs administration.

Representing 11,000 members at 1,400 campuses across 29 countries, NASPA is the largest professional association for student affairs administrators, faculty and graduate students.
