The Black Faculty & Staff Organization at the University of Georgia will host its 15th annual Founders Scholarship Luncheon Sept. 12 from noon-1:30 p.m. in Grand Hall of the Tate Student Center.
The Rev. Everett D. Mitchell, a circuit court judge in Wisconsin’s Dane County, will be the keynote speaker.
The luncheon will support six awardees: three scholarship opportunities through the Founders Awards and three scholarship opportunities through faculty and staff nominations. Proceeds from the luncheon will be used to support the BFSO mission and the scholarship program.
