Administrative Professionals Day Conference slated for April at UGA’s Athens and Gwinnett campuses

Athens, Ga. – The Administrative Professionals Day Conference, sponsored by the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and the International Association of Administrative Professionals, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in two locations: UGA’s Gwinnett campus on April 23, and in Athens on April 24.

The program focuses on improving performance and office professionals can share ideas with colleagues and learn practical tips and tactics that can be used every day in the workplace. Many organizations value the annual event as a way to reward their administrative professionals, customer service representatives and executive assistants.

The theme for the 2013 conference is “Honoring the Office Professionals who Make Offices Work.” Both conferences feature JoAnn R. Corley, motivational speaker, teacher, coach and author who will be speaking about “The Inspired Professional: Going from Ordinary to Extraordinary,” followed by a day of breakout sessions and a luncheon. Brooks Coleman, motivational speaker and state representative, will be the luncheon speaker in Gwinnett. Monica Kaufman Pearson, retired WSB-TV News Anchor, will be speaking at the luncheon at the Georgia Center in Athens.

Registration is $159 by April 9, $179 after, or $125 for a half day with lunch.
