Alan Watson, Distinguished Research Professor and Ernest P. Rogers Chair of Law at the School of Law, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Stockholm. The honorary doctorate presented to Watson by the University of Stockholm follows five others from the universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Pretoria, Palermo and Belgrade. In addition, he holds seven traditional degrees from the universities of Oxford, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
