Alumnus donates $100 million to Columbia’s business school

Henry Kravis, a Columbia University alumnus, recently made a pledge to donate $100 million to his alma mater’s business school, The Chronicle of Higher Education reported.

Kravis, who is co-founder and co-chief executive officer of the private-equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and co-chair of Columbia’s Board of Overseers, gave the money to help the business school establish a campus in Manhattanville, just north of the institution’s main campus in Morningside. It is the largest donation of its kind to the school, the Chronicle reported.
