This year’s keynote address will be given by Lee Torrence, representing the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta’s Early Education Commission. His address is entitled “Why Early Learning Matters: Improving the Availability and Quality of Early Childhood Education.”

The meeting will conclude with presentations of awards to UGA faculty and staff members who best exemplify their commitment to excellence in public service and outreach, the scholarship of engagement and their professions.
