Annual review of retiree MyID accounts begins May 6

Enterprise Information Technology Services is reminding retirees about the upcoming annual review of MyID accounts.

This review process, established in 2023, ensures that retirees can continue to access their UGA MyID and UGAMail, while also maintaining IT security.

Retirees who have not accessed their MyID accounts for a year or more will receive notices and reminders starting this month. These accounts will be deemed inactive and scheduled for deactivation on July 31. To keep their accounts active, retirees simply need to log in.

This annual review helps reduce the risk of inappropriate use of retiree accounts and enhances overall IT security at UGA.
