"Art, Politics, and the Election" topic of new discussion series

Athens, Ga. – Ideas for Creative Exploration (ICE), an interdisciplinary initiative for advanced research in the arts at UGA, will present a new discussion series centered around topics in the arts.

The series will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 29. at 4:30 p.m. in room 150 of the Miller Learning Center with an event titled “Quench: Art, Politics, and the Election”. Panel members will include Athens Mayor Heidi Davison, journalism professor emeritus John English, music professor Richard Zimdars, and local musicians Ryan Lewis and Jeff Griggs.

The event is free and open to the public.
