Cecil A. Jennings named Fellow in the American Institute of Fishery Research Biologists

Cecil A. Jennings, leader of the Georgia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Unit and adjunct associate professor of fisheries in the Warnell School of Forest Resources has been named a Fellow in the American Institute of Fishery Research Biologists.

Jennings is widely recognized for his research on fisheries ecology and management and fish population dynamics. His research looks at the effects of environmental disturbances and conservation initiatives on the fate of fish populations in marine and freshwater ecosystems, especially rivers and estuaries.
