Staff at the UGA Golf Course will hold three free “Getting Ready for ‘Get Golf Ready’ ” instructional classes for any interested UGA faculty and staff members.
“Get Golf Ready” is a Professional Golfers’ Association initiative to help provide low-cost golf lessons to interested people.
The classes-each of which will focus on a different area of the game-will be held Oct. 10, 17, 24 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. A facility tour will be offered after each class for any interested class member.
Class members can use their own equipment or some will be provided. Interested faculty or staff members are asked to email Clint Udell by the Monday before each class (Oct. 7, 14 and 21, respectively). In the email, indicate if any equipment will be needed.
