Inaugural Willson-Grady Digital Media Fellow to visit campus Feb. 27

David Daley, editor-in-chief of Salon.com, will visit UGA as the inaugural Willson Center-Grady College Digital Media Fellow. Daley will discuss “Journalism’s New Golden Age: Politics, Objectivity, Facebook and the Future of Media” Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. in Room 412 of the journalism building. His visit is co-sponsored by the Jane and Harry Willson Center for Humanities and Arts and the journalism department of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Daley was culture editor and executive editor of Salon.com, an online journal of news, politics, culture, technology and entertainment, before being named editor-in-chief in 2013. He is the former features editor of Details magazine and the former lifestyles manager of the Louisville Courier-Journal. He is also editor of the online literary journal FiveChapters.
