Jack Bauerle selected as head coach of U.S. women’s swim team at FINA World Championships

Head swimming and diving coach Jack Bauerle will serve as head coach of the U.S. women’s swim team at the 2005 FINA World Championships in Montreal.

The championships will take place July 17-31. The swimmers and assistant coaches for the World Championships as well as the World University Games will be selected at the trials meet, April 1-6, in Indianapolis.

Bauerle has been a part of multiple international appointments through USA Swimming, ­including serving as head coach for the U.S. women at the World Championships in 2003 in Barcelona, Spain, and as an assistant for the event in 2001 in Fukuoka, Japan. He also was an assistant with the U.S. women’s team at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and a personal coach at the 2004 Games in Athens.
