Carl F. Jordan, Conservationist of the Year Award

Carl F. Jordan, professor emeritus of the Odum School of Ecology, received the Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District’s 2011 Conservationist of the Year Award. The award recognizes his ongoing education, research and outreach efforts at Spring Valley EcoFarms, where he has pioneered sustainable agricultural practices for almost 20 years.

The award was given at the 2011 Oconee River Soil and Water Conservation District annual affiliate members’ meeting in Jefferson.
