UGA President Jere W. Morehead recently assumed additional leadership roles in the area of intercollegiate athletics.
He has been appointed vice chair of the NCAA Division 1 Board of Directors and has been appointed to the NCAA Division 1 Administrative Committee.
He continues to serve on the NCAA Board of Governors and as Vice President and Executive Committee member of the Southeastern Conference.
