Office of Service-Learning to mark its 10th anniversary with showcase

The Office of Service-Learning will celebrate its 10th anniversary April 19 with an all-day showcase. Open to faculty, staff, students and community members, the showcase will be held in the Tate Student Center Reception Hall.

The showcase is open to those who are interested in exploring the range of service-learning course offerings at UGA as well as resources available to support this work. In addition to service-learning course presentations, a Community Partner Roundtable and Lunch will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Attendees will hear from a number of community partners about successful service-learning partnerships as well as community needs that could serve as opportunities to develop new experiential learning partnerships.

Additionally, the 10th Anniversary Reception and Service-Learning Fellows Reunion will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Although the showcase is a drop-in event throughout the day, anyone planning to attend the luncheon or reception should RSVP at http://tinyurl.com/q3sa9op.
