S.O.A.R. Awards honor outstanding student organizations, students, advisers

Athens, Ga.- The H. Gordon and Francis S. Davis Student Organization Achievement and Recognition Awards ceremony will be held at the University of Georgia on April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Tate Student Center. The awards are designed to celebrate the accomplishments of all student organizations at UGA. This year marks the ceremony’s 10th anniversary.

Among the 13 award categories are “Student Organization of the Year,” the “Bulldog Vision Award,” the “Candice M. Sherman Emerging Leader Award,” the “Adviser of the Year” and the “Pillar of the Community.”

The ceremony is sponsored by the Center for Student Organizations and is open to the entire campus community. For more information, see www.uga.edu/stuorgs/soar.
