Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center will present the second concert in the Saturday Morning Club series on March 22 at 10 a.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall. The concert will feature the UGA Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Timothy K. Adams Jr. and Kimberly Toscano.

The concerts are designed for children ages 4-12 and showcase performers from UGA’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music. The Performing Arts Center launched the Saturday Morning Club in October as a way to give young audiences an inside look at what it takes to create music.

“These fun concerts are a great activity for the whole family to share, and I encourage parents and grandparents to come with their children,” said George C. Foreman, Performing Arts Center director.

The UGA Hodgson Singers and Friends will perform for the third Saturday Morning Club concert on April 26 at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $6 for children and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office, online at pac.uga.edu or by calling 706-542-4400 or toll free at 888-289-8497.

The Saturday Morning Club is presented in partnership with Athens Regional Health System.
