School of Law to host ethics conference

The School of Law is hosting the 14th annual Legal Ethics and Professionalism Symposium. “Who Are They to Judge?-Ethical and Professionalism Issues Facing the Bench” will be held Feb. 21 at 8:30 a.m. in the Hatton Lovejoy Courtroom of Hirsch Hall.

The daylong symposium will focus on the increasing ethical challenges faced by members of the judiciary due to the changing dynamics of both their jobs and the legal profession as a whole.

The event also will feature keynote addresses by David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Marsha Ternus, former chief justice of the Iowa Supreme Court.
