Seminar to examine health care bill’s effect on insurance choices at UGA

Roger Roemmich, a former faculty member in accounting and current certified financial planner, and Kari March, president of ROKA Wealth Strategists, will be conducting a two-day course on the new health care bill’s impact on open enrollment at UGA.

The course will be held Nov. 1-2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Conference Center and Hotel. The cost is $39 with a portion of the fee being donated to the Second Chance Animal Rescue and Adoptions program.

It is open to the public, but will be targeted at those 65 and older, or within five years of retirement. The presentation includes information on health insurance choices for those not Medicare-eligible and the Medicare eligible.
