Event participants will learn about the benefits of pollination and local bees.

The Bug Dawgs will have a live bee exhibit, edible insect tastings and education materials explaining the benefits of pollination. Visitors also will have the opportunity to participate in bee-related arts and crafts including a chance to make a beeswax candle.

The $10 admission fee includes a brewery tour and a glass commemorating the event. Event T-shirts will be available for an additional $10.

The UGA Bug Dawgs strive to educate the local community and spread awareness of entomology-related topics, causes and issues. The organization often interacts with the local community by bringing living insects, centipedes, millipedes, scorpions and spiders as well as museum specimens from Georgia and other parts of the world to schools, libraries, organizations or community centers for interactive display.
