UGA expert available to offer commentary on proposed changes in tax policy

Athens, Ga. – Robert Grafstein, professor of political science in the University of Georgia School of Public and International Affairs, is available to speak on the current state of the U.S. economy and President Obama’s recently proposed changes in tax policy.

Grafstein has conducted research and written extensively on topics such as the politics of economic policy and the Social Security program. He is currently co-editing a book comparing U.S. and Chinese politics. Most recently he has studied the politics of social security programs in the U.S. and China and the FairTax. He is the author of numerous articles in leading scholarly journals and has published Institutional Realism with Yale University Press and Choice-Free Rationality with the University of Michigan Press.
