William K. Vencill received Outstanding Teacher Award from Weed Science Society of America

William K. Vencill, an associate professor in the crop and soil sciences department of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, received the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Weed Science Society of America. Vencill conducts research in herbicide physiology, herbicide persistence and weed management. He also is the undergraduate coordinator for crop and soil sciences and teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels on a variety of weed science topics.
