University of Georgia President Michael F. Adams along with Gale Buchanan, dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Provost Arnett C. Mace and Hank Huckaby, senior vice president for finance and administration, will visit the Griffin campus, Wednesday, Aug. 25, for briefings and meetings with campus personnel and community leaders.
The itinerary includes a CAES Advisory Council meeting at 11:15 a.m., an update on the search for a new dean and director and special initiatives information from 11:50 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Griffin campus programs briefing session begins at 2 p.m. The Community Listening Session begins at 4:30 p.m. Invited guests include the mayor, members of the Board of Regents, state and local representatives and county and city commissioners.
While media representatives are welcome to attend any events on the itinerary, they are invited specifically to the community listening session in the conference room of the Flynt Building located at 1109 Experiment Street, Griffin, Georgia.
Adams and Buchanan will be available for media interviews at 5:30 p.m.
