Artists confirmed for Mountain Stage Aug. 27 at UGA

Athens, Ga. – Todd Snider, Carbon Leaf, Garrison Starr, Tin Cup Prophette, Modern Skirts and Vic Chesnutt will perform at the live recording of the nationally syndicated weekly radio show Mountain Stage with host Larry Groce on Sunday, August 27 at 7 p.m. in Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall of the Performing Arts Center. WUGA 91.7/97.9 FM, the University of Georgia’s public radio station, will host the performance.

Mountain Stage is a two-hour radio show recorded before a live audience. Now in its 23rd year, the show has established a long tradition of featuring national and international acts in almost every style of music. Most shows feature five acts and are recorded at the Cultural Center Theatre in Charleston, W. Va. and various venues across the country.

This program will be distributed November 17 to affiliates and can be heard on WUGA, November 19 at 2 p.m.
