UGA Online is now offering four unique workshops to provide faculty with the resources they need to share their expertise more effectively in an online course to provide better experiences for their students.
These workshops are open to all UGA faculty and instructors and will be held via Zoom.
- Successfully Leveraging Video Opportunities for your Course: In this more advanced workshop, learn ways to leverage eLC and Kaltura to create an engaging and dynamic online course space. Subjects include in-video quizzing, interactive transcripts, video assignments and more.

How to Create Content for your Online Course: Dive deep into creating content for online courses, including adopting a modular structure, implementing effective communication patterns and structuring content to maximize accessibility.

Online Engagement: How to do Discussions Well and Why They Aren’t Enough: Asynchronous discussions are an important staple in online courses. However, students need more and different experiences to engage with one another as they learn online. In this session, learn about building community through asynchronous discussions and other types of student-to-student engagement in your course.
