Allan Adams, interim director of UGA’s Small Business Development Center since April 2005, became SBDC state director July 1.
Dale E. Gauthreaux, a former leadership development consultant at Capital One Services and adjunct faculty member in leadership studies and communications at the University of Richmond, became director of the Institute for Leadership Advancement in the Terry College of Business on July 1.
John L. Gittleman, a former professor at the University of Virginia, became director of the Institute of Ecology in the College of Environment and Design on July 1.
Peter J. Shedd is the new director of the full-time master of business administration program at the Terry College of Business. He succeeded Melvin R. Crask as director on June 1. Crask is serving as the college’s associate dean for academic programs on an interim basis.
John Varghese joined the College of Pharmacy on July 31 as administrative financial director. Prior to coming to UGA, Varghese was administrative manager at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University.
