Administrative Changes

Stephen Corey has been named the new editor of The Georgia Review. Corey, who has worked with the journal for more than 24  years, has previously served as acting editor and associate editor.
Pete Golden, former area school safety coordinator for the Georgia Emergency Management Agency, is the new emergency operations coordinator in charge of training at the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness.
Charles Hopkinson, previously a senior scientist at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass., has been named head of the Georgia Sea Grant Program, which is run by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and housed at UGA.
Kaci Wilhite Jones has joined the extended campuses staff at the Office of Student Affairs at the Griffin campus.
Alan Katz, former chief financial officer for Intercollegiate Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation and Wellness programs at Cornell University, joins the Enterprise Information Technology Services staff as the new director of finance and business services.
Brian Rivers, formerly of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco where he oversaw voice and data communications and security services, is the new director of security, network operations and infrastructure at Enterprise Information Technology Services.
Andrea Swilley, former development director for the Division of Student Affairs, has been named director of marketing and communications for student affairs.
Tom Wilson, former deputy communications director for the Georgia Department of Human Resources, has joined the Public Affairs staff as development communications coordinator.
