UGA’s African Student Union will host its annual African Night on March 23. The theme for this year’s show is “American Soil, African Roots, I’m Stuck in Transition.”
Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are $6 for students (in advance) and $8 at the door for all others.
African Night will feature different African dishes, dances, skits that have a comical edge but are serious in nature, a student guest speaker who will discuss her own personal experience with transitioning from Africa to America, and a fashion show.
