Brenda Hayes, a public service associate with the Fanning Institute, has been appointed to the Georgia National Register Review Board, part of the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Hayes will work with the review board to nominate properties to the State Historic Preservation Office for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. She also will assist with determining the locations and text for state historical markers, will participate in the state historic preservation planning process and will help advise the Historic Preservation Division on matters concerning the state’s historic preservation program.
