UGA has begun updating bus shelters across campus through a partnership between Transportation & Parking Services, the Office of University Architects and the Facilities Management Division. The new bus shelters will feature seating areas and shade screens as well as being partially enclosed to offer protection from wind and rain.
Up to 11 new bus shelters are expected to be rolled out across campus during phase one of the project, which is scheduled to be completed by the
end of spring semester. Plans for phase two are anticipated to begin after July.
